Brent Rippentrop Experienced Business Leader

A marketing and finance professional with decades of experience, Brent Rippentrop developed his skills by incrementally broadening his responsibilities. This process enabled Brent Rippentrop to find success across multiple firms.

In 1979, Mr. Rippentrop interned at the accounting department at Deere & Company’s equipment division while attending Iowa State University. In the succeeding years, he gained experience as an auditor before beginning to juggle marketing positions at the same company. Between 1986 and 1988, for instance, as a sales finance analyst, he created a new training program, centered on its business planning models, for employees across the U.S. and Canada.

In the 1990s, Brent Rippentrop began shaping overarching company strategy. Between 1992 and 1994, as a manager of business development, he oversaw processes like mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. When he earned a role as the vice president of Marketing at John Deere Credit, Financial Services, he researched advertising efforts, organized the call center, and determined product pricing. By the time he left the firm, he had generated over $200 million in annual sales.

Beginning in 2009, Mr. Rippentrop has led RSC Equipment Rental as its vice president of financial planning/Analysis. He brought his management experience to the Scottsdale, Arizona firm, which offers its services across the U.S. and Canada.

In 2012 he joined Sunstate Equipment in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2014 Mr. Rippentrop became Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, a position he held until his retirement in June of 2024.
